MISSION
ChesPenn Health Services, Inc. is a network of
non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Centers
(FQHC) that provides comprehensive primary and
preventive care and social services to medically underserved families
and individuals on a sliding scale. ChesPenn Health Services
strives to meet the unique health needs in its communities
in linguistically and culturally competent ways.
ChesPenn Health Services recieves letters from those we serve and thought we would share how our committment to providing quality health care
to all resonates with our mission:
Shawna: 35 year mother of three
" I arrived at ChesPenn Health Services through a homeless shelter.
I have three children and am an immigrant from South Africa living
here with my husband. We went to the
emergency room because my two month-old
daughter had a fever and was not getting better.
The hospital treated her with antibiotics and sent
us home, back to the shelter, and told us to
follow-up with ChesPenn Health Services.
Since my family currently has no health
insurance they told us this is the best place
for my family to receive the much needed
health care services. I was more than
happy to follow-up the next morning with
the staff at ChesPenn. I was welcomed
and the pediatrician was wonderful.
They provided me, and my family with a
medical home that will guarantee our
health while we become acclimated with
a new community."
