" I arrived at ChesPenn Health Services through a homeless shelter. I have three children and am an immigrant from South Africa living here with my husband. We went to the emergency room because my two month-old daughter had a fever and was not getting better. The hospital treated her with antibiotics and sent us home, back to the shelter, and told us to follow-up with ChesPenn Health Services. Since my family currently has no health insurance they told us this is the best place for my family to receive the much needed health care services. I was more than happy to follow-up the next morning with the staff at ChesPenn. I was welcomed and the pediatrician was wonderful. They provided me, and my family with a medical home that will guarantee our health while we become acclimated with a new community."
